This weeks artistic effort. I love the way nature is still able to reclaim as soon as we turn our backs, despite all we have done. It gives me a sense of hope.

Another lovely painting Brent. Good to see. Xxx💜💕

Hi BrentW, what a sweet study of an old cottage. It reminds me of many that I knew in the Caribbean and also some in Ireland too, though those have become rarer as they are now sought after to turn into holiday lets. I agree that nature soon does move in and repair lots of the devastation that people create, if it's only given a chance. We saw snippets of that at the beginning of the covid pandemic when we were all locked down and animals began to explore urban areas. So I think you're right to find it hopeful.

Love this one 😍 My house was built in the mid 1800’s and I garden entirely for the wildlife so a lot of ivy and things left to grow and reproduce naturally I love the combination of old buildings and nature left to its own devices and you’ve captured that charming affect in the picture

Very evocative painting Brent. I too love the way nature reclaims the space we have neglected. Thank you for sharing.

Wishing everyone a great weekend. x x
