Quotation for Wednesday 17th June 2020

โ€ข4 Replies

Hi everyone,

Today I've chosen something which I found amongst some of the inspirational Buddhist bits and pieces I've collected over the years. I thought it might bring a moment of peace to people having trouble sleeping (and that often includes me!)

GOING TO SLEEP

"Falling asleep at last

I vow, with all beings

To enjoy the dark and the silence

And rest in the vast unknown."

Wishing everyone a lovely day and a peaceful, quiet sleep tonight! ๐Ÿ™

Lovely photo Callendersgal, very peaceful. Thank you for the quote today. I struggled to sleep last night so the quote resonated with me,

Enjoy your day. Weโ€™re awaiting our grandson as heโ€™s 8 today.

Have fun! Xxx๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‚๐Ÿ˜˜๐ŸŒˆ

Must admit sassy59 that it wasn't my best night either. Hence the decision for today's quotation. It was Kasar's fault. He was fretful for some reason and would not shut up! So tiresome! ๐Ÿ˜€ It is a lovely picture isn't it? It made me want to go over that bridge and see where it led. Hope you're having a great day with your grandson. A very happy birthday to him. My daughter's is today too! She's been presented with a British Blue kitten by her partner and is thrilled to bits. What was your grandson hoping for?๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ”†๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿ˜€

Oh dear Iโ€™m sure Kasar letโ€™s you know when heโ€™s upset in any way. Weโ€™ve seen our grandson which was lovely. We enjoyed a lovely piece of homemade cake too. I envy your daughter her kitten, how wonderful. Happy birthday to her too.

Jack was happy with anything Fortnite and cash. He loved everything. Thank you for his birthday wishes. Xxx๐Ÿฐ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ’•โค๏ธ
