Quotation for Monday 20th April 2020

Good morning everyone,

I've chosen hope for my quotation this morning, and it's quite a short one from Martin Luther King.

As we start our new week, volunteers in Oxford and Southampton are signing up to trial a new and experimental COVID19 vaccine, and research continues in other countries in the world too, to come up with the successful formula. So there's every reason to be cheerful and hopeful.

This quote seems to cover it.

"We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope".

Hope's very important at a time like this. It's easy to become despondent and feel hopeless. But hope has saved the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. In their darkest hours they have believed, and their hope has been repaid.

I hope that you all have a good day and a good week. 🙏

Good morning Callendersgal, thank you for that quote from an amazing man.

We do have hope and that will get us through. Nearer to a vaccine every day so that’s brilliant.

Enjoy your day and week. Xxxx😘🌈
