Good morning everyone.
Well, there goes another difficult week behind us! And the Easter 'break' almost over. Was it as bad as you might have feared, having to spend it in lockdown? I really feel so bad for all those people who live completely alone. No matter how hard you try to make a routine, it must be so hard. For all our members in that position, a special shout out to you all for your continuing bravery and strength in getting through.
Personally I'm not absolutely sure whether the glorious weather was a help or a hindrance over the weekend. It meant I was able to go out for two early morning walks and admire some of the gardens in the neighbourhood, but on Saturday in particular it was extremely hot inside. So the cooler, overcast weather that's arrived in this area today is actually quite welcome. But I expect for those of you with gardens the sunshine was a big bonus.
I turned out to be quite busy on Sunday. I had thought my husband's work shifts began again on Monday night and it was a bit of a jolt to discover it was last night, so instead of the leisurely Easter Sunday meal I'd planned, I had to go into overdrive in order to get him out of the door on time.
So, on to a new week, and I hope that everyone is managing to cope with the many challenges we all seem to be facing, in one way or another.
Please keep those lovely photos coming when you can, of your walks or gardens, or anything else that is of interest to you, because it'll probably be of interest to the rest of us too!
Take care and continue to stay safe and well. 💐
