Quotation for Tuesday 7th April 2020

Good morning everyone,

Food. A lot of us seem to be preoccupied with it at the moment. I am anyway! How and where to get it. How to stay safe whilst getting it. Trying to stay healthy during this crisis, versus giving up trying and snacking too much.

So, with that in mind I set off to look for some inspiration on the topic. It was all a bit dull and bland, but then I came across this gem from Mr Bean.

FOOD

Says it all really, I suppose.😝

And during this crisis I think it's very much a case, not only of liking what's available, but making your food habits about what works for you, in terms of nutritional requirements and of being as kind to yourself as you can be, whilst deprived of so many enjoyable things.

Now that’s my kind of quote Callendersgal. I never thought I would be agreeing with Mr. Bean! 😂

I must admit, we are being very careful not to waste anything and I’m using up bits and pieces in the fridge, freezer and cupboards. I also like to see what turns up in the shopping compared to what I ordered. Nothing too bizarre thus far thank goodness.
