Hello Shona30 and welcome to this community. It sounds as if you have had to make some changes to your life to help your son. I wonder if you could tell us a little bit more about the circumstances and challenges you are dealing with and we will try to give you as much support as we can. Take care and please keep in touch.

Hi Shona30,

I think your post was probably in connection with the poll that CalvinHU ran yesterday, asking about changes to working life as a result of caring for someone.

I see you joined our Care Community quite recently, so I just wanted to welcome you to our group, and we are happy to have you among us.

Our group is geared a little more towards caring for those people who need care later in life, but that doesn't mean you aren't welcome here.

And in fact I wasn't able to find very much in the way of other groups on HealthUnlocked that are specifically for those coping with ADHD. All I could see at first glance was one group for adults with ADHD, and you didn't give the age of your son.

It might be worth your while to go right through the list of communities available, and see if there is any other group that might be able to support you more closely.

But anyway, very best wishes to you both and we'll always be happy to help, if we can.
