Things are all tad wishy washy vauge when it comes to dad’s mixed personal budget direct payment.

According to social worker £600 is he’s allocation to meet he’s yearly care needs

Your local council is responsible for your dad's personal budget and the reason it's given that title is because it's worked out on an individual basis for him. So other people may appear to be in a very similar situation, but might be allocated more or less than your dad.

If you don't understand the way your dad's budget has been worked out, or feel it may not be correct, you should take it up directly with your council. You are certainly entitled to understand how they reached the figure they did.

If you aren't sure how to contact the relevant department, I'm sure your nearest Citizens' Advice Bureau would be able to help steer you in the right direction.

Hi Callendersgal yer I know others would have been awarded Various about etc but was after finding out what is celling and what is min award.

From my understanding direct payments can be spent on aid or services to achieve goals BUT she seem to think it was to buy care services only.

I can feel appeal comeing on given seems desmisery award
