Hi. Just wondered if anyone knows where I can buy a coffee/tea cup that has measurements printed on the inside. My mother in law has to have thickened measured drinks. We have seen them in the hospital but can't seem to find them anywhere to buy. Thanks.

Amazon have other clear mugs with measures on the side. Other possibility is ask in a chemist if they can source one.
Large Boots stores usually have a catalogue to order such things. But try some of the online disability suppliers as most NHS equipment can be bought on line. Example I buy hand splints the same as provided by NHS at a company called Bodytec. So I am sure you will find a cup even on Amazon maybe as suggested already.
Hi Carolinefa,
I must admit I've never seen a drinking cup like this myself but it sounds a really handy thing to have if you can find one.
If you can't, and don't want the hassle of transferring every drink from measuring jug to cup, you could perhaps make up the drink using a measuring jug with mm readings on the first occasion, and then find a normal cup of the capacity to take just the amount of the made-up thickened drink. That way, you know when the cup's full, you have the right amount of fluid.
However, if you do manage to find one of these handy cups, do come back and let us know the details. I'm sure that such a thing would be useful in all sorts of circumstances.
Best wishes.
