I'm worried about my dad in this sudden change of temperature. Is there anything I should try and get him to avoid/do more of when its so much warmer?

Has he got a fan? Could you set it on a timer for him so that it cools him for the middle of the day - say 11 - 4?

hmm good idea. I don't think he does have one. His bungalow gets so hot as well which is a godsend for the majority of the year, just not so much now

Hi freezingpark, as exhausted wife has posted, a fan is a good idea to help keep his bungalow cool. Also, is he able to drink plenty of fluid? This will also help to keep him hydrated and maintain his body temperature. Wearing cotton clothing will help, also. Hope this is helpful to you. Thank you and best wishes.
