I am new to this site, finding my way around I have had the above problem for many years. Had 3 Surgeries, and use crutches to get around. Walking any distance is a big problem. Pain is the worst thing I have to put up with. Wonder if anyone else has got this problem too?

Hi Con75 and welcome to the forum. I am sorry to hear you are experiencing so much pain. Is this being addressed by a pain clinic, as this will be helpful to you?. Do any members of the forum have experience of this condition to help Con75, please? Do stay on the forum where you will receive help and support from other members. Thank you and best wishes.

I have attended a pain clinic a few years ago. They really couldn't help much. I was unable to do any of the exercises that were recommended, as I had not long been operated on.

The pain was excruciating. In the end it was decided they would try and control the pain with drugs. I have been on many drugs for a long time. Even wear a Fentynal patch.

Arachnoiditis is described in great detail online. I also joined a self-help group. Helps sometimes, doesn't at other times. Depression being another problem one has to cope with.

Hi Con75. I'm sorry I can't be of any practical help as I know nothing about this condition, but it sounds very challenging to deal with its pain. Just wanted to say that I read your post and am thinking of you, welcome to the site and I hope that others will be able to give some advice that will help.

My Grandson 21yrs old has just been diagnosed with this condition, although I am not convinced as his symptons affected more his upper body than lower for example without warning for no apparent reason he dropped a pot of paint. Any further information will help
