Hello Chrissy I really feel for you, back pain is so hard to deal with personally and to treat. What has been happening since April...have you been back to your GP or pain clinic? What is in place to help? Often it is a package of things some of them very simple, we can look at some if you wish but I don't want to waste your time with what you have already tried and maybe rejected.

Hi Chrissy, I feel that you need to speak to your GP in the first instance for advice. It sounds like you need more than Paracetamol for pain control, possibly codeine, and a muscle relaxant to reduce spasms. Take a look at the NHS Choices site:nhs.uk/Conditions/Back-pain...

Also, If you feel that you are not being 'heard' by your Health Care Professionals (HCP), you could contact Patient Advice and Liaison Service [PALS]. PALS provides impartial advice and assistance in answering questions and resolving concerns that patients, their families, and carers may have in accessing NHS services. nhs.uk/service.

I hope this is helpful. Best wishes.
