vitamin d tablets

been taking vitamin d tablets as my levels came back low but since I have I have had the most horrible smelling bowel movements and my tummy seems upset, could this be from them? Sounds weird but just don't seem right! Usually I would put it down to something else but it does seem to be from a day or two after starting these?? Random but can't find anything about this unless it's taken in excess which I just take one tablet a day as suggested?

I hope you don’t mind me jumping on this. I also have low levels of vitamin D I haven’t started taking it yet. But for a couple of months I’ve had very smelly wind and movements Could it be the low levels that cause this ? I am starting my vitamin D today, and would be very interested in anyone else’s thoughts

I've been supplementing with Vit. D for about 2 years now and haven't come across any of the side-effects mentioned. Is this prescription or over the counter? If OTC then it maybe that they contain a filler that doesn't agree with you.
