I’m now on 300mg spironalactone and 120 frusamide per day to try and shift ascities.
Trying my best to stick to a low sodium diet as advised.
still decompensated with a hernia developing In abdomen, pronounced chest bone and coccydynia which is a really sore tip end of the coccyx bone which makes it hard to sit. These developed due to pressure from ascities my consultant thinks. Any advice welcome.
My question is does bathing feet in Epsom salts help to draw out more toxins? Would the body also absorb some of the salts?
Thank you 😊

Have you had a paracentesis drain yet on the ascites? If not then if it's really bad I'd be asking for one. I've had a few and two hernias now because of the fluid, the first one had to be operated on and now I have another and it's ridiculously huge. So get a drain done, it's fine. You'll be absolutely amazed at the fluid they shift (instant weight loss!!)
