Just wonder if anyone has similar experience. I have had a phone appiontment with my liver specialist and I feel like I am in the film Groundhog day.
When I was 13 I had extreme itching with no rash and went yellow. I was diagnosed with hepatitis A and jaundice.
1 have 4 grown up children and had Cholestasis of pregnancy with 2 of them. With the same constant itching that drove me mad.
My consultant has gone between NAFLD and AIH as a diagnosis and reason for my corrhosis for 10 years.
. Each time he rings he tells me that I am fine and dismisses a connection with my liver history.
For about six months now I have had problems with my sleep and he is dismissing it as a symptom I will not be getting yet? I am loosing trust in doctors and I know they are over worked at the moment but feel like im slipping through the cracks because NHS is over streached.
Don't get me wrong. I am so greatful we have such brilliant people and I have been in hospital during lockdown so I know how hard they are working.
Has anyone else felt the same?

Have you actually been told you have cirrhosis? Sorry it wasn't clear in the original post. When I was 12 I went bright yellow and was eventually diagnosed with Gilbert's - so that in itself can be a red herring.
Be careful of trying to find reasons to justify your fears, I don't want to have to bring out my hooves saying , but there are lots of things that can impact sleep before your Liver does - and it generally is due to HE which means you are pretty much showing a lot of other symptoms too..
