Been told this is it for my family member.

Drain did not seem to work

Low sodium

Low platelets

They said no to water tablets as would affect salts but i have just read on here there is a tablet that does not affect salts so do not know why they are not trying this

Hi eekk, yes as Laura says, if you think there is a water tablet that they may be able to have then ask the GP about it. You will at least get an answer why they can't have it if there is a reason.

Thanks i only just read the info re tablet on here after gp was closed i will try again for answers tomorrow
