Hi I to had liver cancer diagnosed last year , no symptoms at all felt great had a physical active job and lifestyle ,I'm afraid you just never know I ended up having a transplant ,but everyone is different so might not apply to you they can get rid of it with a procedure called radio frequency abalation which is painless hope this helps it is a worrying time ,try to remain positive there is much to be positive about.
Positive thoughts and prayers that they can get things sorted for you. It sounds like the team are working hard for you. Try and do nice safe things to help you to relax as much as you can. I know it is easier said than done, but you looking after you, helps the specialists do their job.
I was dx with liver cancer 4 years go because the lesions on my liver represented liver cancer, turns out I don't have cancer (well not liver cancer) my liver has shrunk, the lesions have grown and multiplied, I am on the transplant list, I don't look or feel ill most of the time either. I hope they have it wrong for you! Best of Luck xx
If I am not imposing, please can I ask how did they confirm you didn’t have liver cancer?
My husband has been told he has LC was on tx list but at last minute operation aborted when surgeon reassed last mri & decided tumours now reached max critea.
We have now been discharged from liver specialist with no treatment.
Sorry to impose, just trying to make sense of everything
Of course. Lesions/nodules can show up in a similar manner on US. I went on to have contrast CT’s and MRI’s I was seen but a hepatologist rather than a GI. There were weeks of tests and checks it was a few weeks before
They told me it was not LC....get a second opinion if you feel you should have One you are entitled x
