Congratulations GRoy on completing the 10k run of the Great Scottish Run, at this very moment I am watching it on BBC 2

Chris Thompson has just won the half marathon and Kababa the women's race

Congrats Gordon. How was it ? Was it ok running in a crowd ? Well done on your time and no stops 👍

Paulanoo it was great. Felt that all that was happening was people running past me but I ran my own race and enjoyed the crowd

Superb! I just had a look to see whether you have kept injury free and I saw your post about a sore hip. I wonder whether it just went away of its own accord or what? And how long if at all you were on the ic?

I had a sore hip and to be honest was trying to keep going but eventually had to stop. I had two weeks off and when I started again did more stretching but cut it back to doing 5 to 6 k runs. I have not run a 10k since the start of August. Today with all the stretching I didn’t feel it sore at all

Thank you for that hip soreness and cure history. Glad you sorted it.
