I recently was looking at the lab report about my breast cancer tumor and somehow had not noticed that my tumor was not invasive ductile carcinoma, but invasive micropapillary carcinoma. It apparently is rare. Has anyone here had this diagnosis ? This is a recurrence for me. My first cancer was invasive ductile carcinoma. It appears from the little I read that invasive micropapillary carcinoma has a high rate of recurrence and is very aggressive. I really hate the thought of going through this a third time.

Im sorry I don’t know anything about this type of cancer. Can you speak to your oncologist or breast care nurse to get more information. If that’s not possible there are cancer charities that can provide support and advice. Best wishes, i hope you can get more information 🤗
