Hey all, happy new year🍀

I hope someone out there can help me with this.

About a 5 days ago I had cold feet so I wore a pair of my partners sport socks to bed, the next morning I had bite track marks all the way up my legs and they itched like mad, I didn’t know that they were new and he hadn’t washed them so I guessed they had some kind of bugs in them from where they were made abroad. Anyway, since then I have got flu like symptoms and now I have a really bad sore throat. I guess my immune system isn’t brilliant at the moment. I alway heard after breast cancer we have to be vigilante and try to avoid being bitten etc, but I didn’t believe it.

Can anyone give me any advice on what to do and should I be taking this reaction seriously.

Thanks

Hey Jennymary, thx for your response. I called NHS 111 and they referred me to the hospital where I was diagnosed with a virus. The doctor checked the bites and confirmed there was no infection. Just eat well, lots of fluid and rest. Thank you so much. I am so relieved that this forum is here 🙏🏽👏🏽💖💃🏽
