Hello everyone ...well chemo number 3 done yesterday ...I must admit, me not being a forceful person, after my last bad experience on number 2, I became a diva yesterday ...I had the heat pad over my arm ..as I had the cold cap, demanded that I was explained my meds more thoroughly ...learnt more than I did on number 1 ...and last night I had a much better sleep, no sickness ...hoorah ...and today I feel chipper and able to smile ...cold cap was colder lol ...but I endured and the nurse I had on number one came to see me and said " you have shit loads of hair left !" which made me shocked ( as I felt I had lost loads, I have, but she wouldn't know " so I am now half way through ...and I feeling ok ...its a down hill slide now ...each cycle I have given myself a treat and an event to look forward too ...last night was nice new bedding and nightie ...today writing out xmas cards ...(I know groan ) ..and my daughters birthday ..she is having that sleepover I promised ..(unicorn theme ) ...then it will be number 4 ...and Christmas to plan ...hope everyone is feeling well / and happy as you can be ...I'm trying to get lots of positives out of this,,,as I can ..not letting this awful predicament I find myself in become the master ....onward and upwards everyone ...be kind to yourself and little treats along the way ...lots of love and peace xxxx

Dear Jackearls

Well done, you are being so strong. I keep writing this but it helped me, a friend said “ you have to proactively handle your care”; I love that, it is not being a diva but being assertive, polite and prepared.

Don’t panic if you have bad days, it is a rollercoaster and you will get through it.

You sound very determined -keep going you are so approaching it the right way!If you have problems tell your breast care team-i didn't for the first 3 times and just put everything down to side effects, but they can help you a lot with things but complain loudly about things is my advice, sounds like you will get through ok though.Good luck with the rest of the treatment.luv Vicky.xx

Hi Jackearls well what a positive post! Really well done you are doing soooo well. I admire you. A smile and better sleep! And brave enoug for the cold cap and still holding not your hair! All great news. What lovely treats - I consider wrapping Christmas presents to be a treat, I really enjoy it.

Your daughte4 has a terrific mum 😌.

I felt a lot of relief after 3 as I considered I had broken the back of it and no 4 was even better.

Wishing you continued positivity, you are doing so very well. Keep us posted

Sending love Deb x
