HI Jenny1410

Hope you're doing OK? I think this forum is probably the best place to find likeminded ladies to talk to. Facebook is a bit Public for the kind of questions we like to ask/answer.

I'm personally on FB but don't discuss my health or wellbeing.

There is the option to message anyone on here directly so if you find you have things in common or have the same type of cancer & you both want to chat it's easy to do.

If you read through the various posts you might find someone in a similar situation to yourself. Or you can raise a topic/question & someone usually has some input!

I'm on self enforced R&R at the moment, so l have time on my hands! l have an auto immune disease that's playing up & l don't want to have to increase my steroids!

Remember there's always someone around to chat & we even have at least one lady from Australia so day or night you could get a reply.

Best Wishes 💐

I see Jenny, just more 'normality' l have to be honest I've stopped seeing a lot of people's posts, kept them as Friends but not all the rubbish they post! 😂

Where are you up to now in your treatment? I finished my Chemo November 2015, still wearing a wig as my hair has not grown back as well as I'd have thought it would.

We're celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary this year so an exciting year ahead. Off to the Far East on the Queen Mary2 to kick the Celebrations off! I have a long standing auto immune disease that many of my family & friends don't understand & that frustrate's me so much as the only thing my friends ask about is "How is my hair" 🙆🏻aagghh!

Great seeing news about your cruise lovely to have something to look forward too. Is this your first? We are 30 yrs married in May where does time go eh? Have a fantastic cruise - im jealous ha ha x

Hi Hidden

Yes, really looking forward to Our Cruise 🚢 I can't believe where 40 years went! We've been very lucky & taken many Cruises preferring them to other types of holiday now.

I had to cancel the Cruise for My Big 60 as l was mid Chemo so this is why we're pushing the boat out now, sorry for the pun!

I see from your later post you now have ME/CFS l'm so very sorry to hear this, it must be awful for you. I have PMR (Polymyalgia Rhematica) which also causes fatigue, l'm resting at the moment to try n keep the steroids as low as possible along with another drug which is basically a low dose Chemo!

The main thing is I'm here, l have a wonderful husband, my boys are both happily married & we are looking forward to Celebrating Big Style this year 🥂

Good for u pushing the boat out and doing it in style. We were on the last trip the QE2 had before being sold my my what service. Like u we got the bug and we had a trip of a life time flew to australia then cruised home 80 or so days my what an experience. Sadly two months later bang good old breast cancer but won the battle. Know ive just had a mastectomy following 2nd diagnosis but my wonderful memories of these trips keep me going. All trips in uk now as we have furbaby. Am lucky enough to have a motorhome so it fits all our holiday needs for now. Loved hearing all your news enjoy x
