Just rung the Breast Screening Unit, they hadn't realised that I'm still under care, therefore June appt has been cancelled and if I don't get another appt by the end of September I ring and chase up the appt, off now to see if my eye is any better xxx

they don't always get info passed back to them ,,, I got an appointment for a mammogram ..... Problem being I have had a double mastectomy . 🙄 😂 So glad you checked ... Never be afraid of asking anybody anything . X good luck xxx

Although we expect 'the system' to automatically be on the ball, it's not infallible as many of us are probably aware. If you remember to, it's always best to double check.

Hi Wobblybee, thank you for the kind words about my eye, it's better than it was on Tuesday, but I have to go back next Friday for yet another check, meanwhile blitzing it with lots of drops, and I asked the Dr yesterday if I could have my MLD massage on the 31st, he said he'd decide next week but with it being the bank holiday weekend I contacted the therapist who has advised just to wait until the eye is sorted, hope everyone has a good weekend x
