I had to have one of these yesterday 22/04/24 The nurse said it should be my last 1 thank goodness as I was in a state about having it done due to the fear of my Diverticular Disease/IBS and being a right old bag of nerves in case I would of had an accident during the exam so I did inform her beforehand but I was in pain before it so I took all my tablets ETC before well 2 cut a long story short it wasn't the nurses fault but "MY" god it was the worse 1 that I had as being 62 nearly 63 years old I have had them on/off through my life time they have all been OK but when the thing she inserted up my was painful (( putting it mildly) it bloody hurt then I came home went toilet oh it really stung like mad and had a bit off blood also so I was trying 2 drink as much fluid as I could teas and squash ETC 2 try and dilute my urine as best as I could well that was yesterday all OK today when going 4 wees today thank you but now my bowels are not very good today!!! So I was almost crying with it "SORRY" for going on about it but still a bit tender and sore today again it feel like I am sat on rocks and rocks/stones are waiting 2 come out of me today as when I do go poop I end up picking it out and have been doing so for the last 4/5 weeks any tips 2 help please!!!
