Scottish REMS clinic

I have just read on their website that Osteoscan are doing a scan clinic in August in Glasgow. Happy to read this. So now they have clinics in Edinbugh (last few years now, I think) and now Glasgow. The results from my last DXA looked a bit iffy and couldn't get a decent answer from my GP so will be seeing if I can get an appointment in Glasgow with mr Birch . everyone says he's brilliant. I'll report back [doing a happy dance...but carefully.. so I don't do anything silly 🤣 ]

That’s great news. I knew he went to Edinburgh but not Glasgow He is brilliant and very calm and reassuring, you won’t regret seeing him.

Hi, I had one in Nov (at the York clinic) and it was £200 if I remember currently. Worth every penny tho.

HI Char. No, but I will be taking my results to my GP afterwards to discuss. Sadly I'm finding I have less and less confidence in the NHS - I know that's a shame but it it what it is. When I spoke to Osteoscan i could self-refer so I went ahead and booked. There is no need to go through GP etc
