L1/L2 Decompression with Cyst Excision

I’d be very grateful to hear from anyone who has undergone this particular surgery and also from others who decided not to proceed with it. I am 77, live on my own and am managing constant pain (oftentimes severe nerve pain) with gentle exercise, walking little and often, taking a low dose of pregabalin, being informed about my health conditions, taking an active interest in my diet, lifestyle etc and encouraging myself to have a positive attitude to life. I have osteoarthritis, an L2 pedicle screw fracture following instrumented fusion (and revision) surgery to L2/3&4 (Spondylolisthesis) in 2015 & 2017 and inflammatory rheumatoid arthritis. The proposed surgery is the next step to hopefully prevent further instrumentation into the thoracic/cervical spine vertebrae. Thanks and best wishes to all.
