No. Most of us just get on with life and avoid lifting anything heavy. I know you have other problems too, but don't let osteoporosis get you down. Give it 2 or 3 months to heal then do as much as you can. It's essential to keep moving.

No! I have got a scooter for if I go shopping but I do things in the home. Not a lot but as much as I can.

I'm trying to let all my fractured vertebrae heal. I can walk, so I walk with my walker. One day at a time. T12 is one of them. They do heal. No heavy lifting. Keep moving as much as you can. Bending to the floor is a taboo for me. Take 4000 D3 and K2. Had a Zolendronic Infusion about 3 weeks ago. Calcium has bad effects. I try to get it through diet. A positive outlook goes a long way. Best of luck Radars.

thanks, I don't know if I am getting the right amount of calcium, you have got to stop in all day trying to measure calcium, that's why I have been thinking of calcium citrate. I had infusion last April 1st one don't know if it's doing any good.

Too soon for me to tell if infusion is working. My dexa scan has not changed much since last year, although I've lost 6 cm. In height. I suppose if I get no more fractures, the infusion is working to some degree.
