What is the optimum time to take calcium and prednisone. Should they be taken together?

I was diagnosed with GCA In November 2021 and began taking prednisone 25mg. I am now down to 12.5 on a slow taper. I have been taking calcium and Vitamin D daily but am not sure if I should take them together. I take the prednisone in the morning.

Should the Vitamin D and Calcium be taken together with the prednisone.

You shouldn't take them together. I take my pred in the morning and calcium mid day as that suits me. I think, as long as the calcium is at least 2 hours after the pred that's ok
