How many people with OP take Omega 3 supplements?

Omega 3
I take a cod liver oil supplement every day. I have taken this prior to being dx with OP.
I take Omega 3 fish oils, but have been taking them for years, long before I was diagnosed with osteoporosis. I've read recently that they work best when combined with Vit E, so now thinking about adding yet another supplement! See for example: livestrong.com/article/1098...
I've always taken omega 3 fish oil capsules because of RA.
Recently read research has shown the supplements don't seem as effective as eating fish. Will see if I can locate reference later. On my way out now.
I used to take Holland and Barrett’s s Flax seed oil, as this was stated as having high Omega 3. It was then pointed out to me on the NOF Forum, that most of the flax now grown in the US is heavily sprayed, which is probably the case everywhere now. The H&B flax was from the US, and I wasn’t convinced that H&B were telling me the truth about it being organically grown.
I reluctantly stared taking Cod Liver oil. I was assured that any mercury would be removed during processing. This is still open to question in my opinion, even though the label implies that it’s safe, I take one small teaspoon on alternative days, as it gives me diarrhoea if I take it daily.
The best Omega 3 and D3 source, which Is said to be safe from mercury and lead, according to Dr. Mercola, is Tinned Wild Red Alaskan Salmon, assuming you include the liquid. I generally eat this twice a week. It’s also rich in Ca if you include the bones. Fresh salmon tends to loose the omega 3 and D3 on home cooking, as well as having the contamination risk. Farmed Salmon is a definite No, No, if you want a ‘clean’ source.
Best wishes
