My mother is taking treatment for liver cirrhosis and Portal Vein Thrombosis for the past 2 years, she is doing well, her LFT, AFP tests are normal.

As per the latest surveillance CT scan the impression " Small Arterially Enchancing Lesion(1.4×1.1cm) in left lobe of liver with No washout - like LIRADS 3 p/o dysplastic nodule - Suggested follow-up imaging"

Our doctor told to do a follow-up MRI next month , currently its not a HCC and will decide based on the next scan results.

We are very worried, Anyone who has faced the same results, can you please share your experiences, i am hoping we will get the result as "Benign Category" in next scan

Yep this is standard. The growth rate is a strong indicator - so they want to see if it continues to grow, and if it does, how quickly does it do so in X period of time.

The good news is that if, heaven forbid, it does turn out to be HCC, it will be caught extremely early which is HUGE in terms of treatment options and outcomes.
