As the year begins, before we welcome a new year of opportunities, experiences, and connections, it is only natural to look back at the past 12 months.
The patient voice is at the center of everything that we do. Seeing improved patient experiences as a result of being part of the HealthUnlocked communities is something that makes us enormously proud. Amongst the challenges that the world is facing, we are continuously working to provide safe online spaces for every one of our members so you can support each other through these challenging times.
HealthUnlocked Activity During 2021
This year we have seen a record number of activity across the site. With 183,000 new members joining the platform, our overall member count has now reached over 1.5 million. We are so excited that we are able to offer you a place where you can come together, connect, and build lasting friendships. Together with our expanding team, we hope that these numbers continue to grow so that you can access more information and resources whilst navigating your health journeys.
Ultimately though, we want to thank you. We are living through a tumultuous, complex time which has meant all of us have had to adapt to new ways of living that we never imagined. Everyone has been impacted in some way or the other and we want to thank you for your patience, cooperation, and positivity whilst we all get through this together.
From all of us at HealthUnlocked, we wish you a safe, happy end to 2021 and a promising2022.

A happy New Year to you too Saskia and to all of the the HU team. For sure we have lived through challenging times but we've shown we can keep things going through it all to provide ongoing support for our members. Now onwards and upwards in 2022!
Happy New Year to you SaskiaHU and the team from the C25K, B210K and Marathon Support team at HealthUnlocked, I had a small problem with emails last week, I reported the problem to HU and it was soon resolved, thank you.
Well done Saskia. It is not easy to change your lifestyle and eating habits, but we have no choice. I have been that route but I did not have to lose as much as you. I only had to lose 25 kilos. I had a heart ablation to overcome the Atrial Fibrilation, and was back to normal for 2 years, but the AF is back again, On top of that and the Parkinson's I now have prostate cancer and had to have the male equivilaent of a hystorectomy. I am now in permanent menopause and have hot flushes like my late wife after her op. Mine will stay with me forever, if I live that long.Keep up the good new eating habit, which we have been on for quite a while. I am now 87 and betwen the Parkinson's, the AF and the menopause I am having lots of challenges,
But my second wife and I get on with our lives together and enjoy it to the full.
