Olive is doing really well, growing nicely and around midnight until 3am she has a little rave in my womb and is really active. She is definitely going to be a party goer and a footballer when she's older.
Dan has moved in with my mum while he recovers, we both wanting him to be at home, but I can't cope with looking after him when I've got me and Olive to look after. He has started counselling for the accident, the stitches are being removed and his collarbone is healing well, and he only needs to wear his sling a couple of hours a day now.
Me? Well I'm still pregnant ha ha still not really enjoying being pregnant I've got just next week at work before half term and I start maternity leave. I have cardiology appointment every 2 weeks and my heart is coping well I had an ECG the other week and the consultant is happy with everything. My blood pressure is lower than it has been in years. The nurses laugh that pregnancy lowered my BP

That's great news your cardiologist is happy with your health and good to hear you're taking care of yourself and will be starting leave soon.Dan staying with your mum sounds like it has been a good idea and hopefully all heals well, both physically and mentally after such an ordeal.
I wonder if Olive will still be lowering your BP when she's awake in her crib partying at 3am 😄

Great to hear you and Olive are doing so well. And Dan is recovering at his mom's . You and Olive have the bed to yourself 😁.. If she's anything like my daughter when I was pregnant she used to kick Nick in the back. Have they told you yet if you will have normal delivery or c section? Had both mine by emergency c section. With daughter no matter how much I pushed I couldn't delivery her. But she was 8lb 4oz even though in those days I was over 19st turns out I had small pelvis. Had general as she wasn't in distress but I was. My son was supposed to be elective c section but went into labour at 36.5 weeks they gave me the choice but I opted for general as I knew what they had to do.
But I have to laugh now as I had 3 major and 2 minor ops all with a dicky heart with a hole in the side and no one knew until 2020/2021. My children are 41 and 37 this year.
Olive will definitely keep you on your toes once she arrives. But you will find you can't wait for her to move and walk then talk and once they start you just what then to stay still and shut up for a bit. But that's the joys of being a parent. 😄.
Make sure you rest as you will need your sleep once she arrives. Very exciting times ahead for you and Dan.
Sorry I got the mom's mixed you. Have you got a back up plan in place incase you can't give birth naturally.
Why I say this is my daughter needed help having her first child . She is healthy but she had to have a forceps delivery. If they had told her exactly what that entailed she would have had a c section. As they had to use long forceps to turn him and then smaller ones to pull him out. She was in pain for 9 months after he was born.
She had elective c section the second time and was out of hospital the next day . And healed in 6 weeks.
I haven't told you this to scare you. But if you have in your mind what needs doing incase you can't have the delivery you want it will make it easier for you to cope with physically and mentally.
I hope Olive comes into this world the way you want.
I've done a hypnobirthing course, so I have a plan A, B, C, and D and plan D is an c section and induction. I'd rather not put myself or my baby through those

Sounds like you've found a good plan and way around your troubles. Nice your family is close and everyone looks after each other. Silver linings. Good news about your heart.. feeling your positivity.
