OT - Sorry, Quick Release Watch Strap

I recently ordered a new automatic watch as yet again my battery had failed and arranging its replacement is a nightmare. Anyway, unbeknown to me it came with a Quick Release leather (I prefer leather) strap. However, I cannot phantom out how it works. Does anybody know or maybe have a YouTube Klink. Thank you.

The quick release part I am referring to replaces the buckle shown.

It's my experience Michael that anything designed to make life a bit easier will in fact be the biggest pain in the backside ever!!!

Hope you're now feeling better now & fully recovered?

Good Morning Michael.

From the shape of it , it would seem possible that the two outer curved sections fold inwards, up and over the raised middle section. The clasps would then meet centrally.

Is there hinging to permit this movement of the side parts?

Hope you find the solution. So frustrating.

Best wishes

I think you have to double back on each end when putting on so in effect you have a fold on the inside of your wrist at both ends of the strap. It's sounds complicated but easy to do once it's on if it's a good fit. 👍

Thank you - that's the one although I am struggling slightly as I am wearing it on the opposite side to normal because of the "alarms" watch that has decided not to tell the time. I seem unable to Like posts at the moment!

I have decided to keep the watch but replace the strap. Basically if I adjust it to go over my hand it is loose on my wrist. If I adjust it on my wrist it is a "right" pain to undo! Probably my hand is bigger than average for my wrist from powering a wheelchair(1.2HP peak, 0.15HP continuous).
