I wonder if i can get bit of help.In 2018 had 5cardiac arrests4 at home and1 in hospital, just out of the blue no warning or pain nothing.

I had just been discharged from a lot of tests i had done on my heart as my mum begged me to get checked as my younger brother had pace maker, so thats why the tests.

Anyway cardiologist said all was fine but i had a burning in middle of my chest for a year and was taking gaviscon dual action as that worked cardiologist said just carry on taking that so i did.

But then after a courtesy call i get once a year i was told I have split in one of tubes to my heart but was told nothing to worry bout. So now with the copd and split in heart tube my breathing is playing up I'm on no medication for my heart nor for my copd only inhaler which is Salamal 2 puffs when needed so you can imagine how frightened i get.

If there is anybody with any advice please let me know.

Also trying to get appointment with GP no chance.

Sorry if you have, but briefly…. they will take you through a series of questions and decide if any appointment is needed, and if so, who to.

Have you tried phoning the BHF nurses. The phone number is on the main BHF page. They are very helpful.
