My progress

Last weekend was 9 months since my AVR & CABG. I also had 2xPCI three weeks before that.

This week I’ve been back to my local Cardiac Unit for a progress check. I’d had blood tests a month ago with my GP and they were fine.

So the result is I’ve been told that they will book an echo for me in two years time and they don’t want to see me until then despite my having slight leakage on another heart valve and signs of bundle block on my ECG. Neither of these are significant.

No change to drugs routine either apart from confirming Ticagrelor is to stop shortly.

That's great news to read, Survivor, it's always a brilliant feeling when the yearly appointments are extended for a longer length of time between too! Don't forget to take some credit for how hard you've worked to help yourself get to this stage as well, Carol👏👏😊
