Update meet the surgeon

He was very nice indeed and gave a full explanation so I didnt need many questions of my ownbut I will be operated on sooner than I thought probably bf this Christmas!!!!!!

And we'd thought it would be next year earliest NO much much sooner,Im obviously symptomatically worse than Id thought and had been putting it down to my diabetes etc

We are both a bit shocked now at the speed this is moving

Glad your appointment went well sorry to hear you need it sooner then you thought but it's best to get it done x what symptoms was you brushing off as diabetes?? Hope your not waiting too long for your surgery, by the sounds of it could be next month! ❤️

Really pleased you got a nice Surgeon it always helps

I can imagine the shock thinking it might be next year and that it will take you a few days to process it however think of this as been a good thing not that you are worse than you thought you were but they are taking real good care of you and getting it done quicker to make sure you are fit and healthy sooner

Did you get that appointment come through for the dermatologist ?

Try and take it easy the next few days list all the positives plan you lights in your garden for next Summer and think about you been sat out there on a nice warm Summer's evening with lighting feeling calm and all this behind you x

Sooner the better. I am pleased for you. In my opinion waiting is by far the worst part of the whole, so it sounds good for you. What a nice 2024 to look forward to.

Good to hear the appointment went well, sounds like you've got a good surgeon /consultant. I know how that shock factor feels whilst you're taking in the information. However it is a good thing that they're moving quickly and although right now it may not seem so, it will be better to have it done sooner and feeling better sooner.
