Ablation for VT

I had my first heart attack 15 years ago and had a CABG - have been fine since apart from a reduced EF and heart failure, so have been on meds with regular check ups.

More recently. following another heart attack, I had a stent fitted then they put in an ICD.

Frustratingly, the ICD was fitted as a precaution should my heart go out of rhythm. It never had before, then the following day I went into full blown VT, received 8 shocks from the device before they turned it off, failed Cardioversion, then rushed to intensive care.

Anyway, I have been in hospital for over three weeks of the last six. Amiodarone has brought the heart rate down when I go into VT but hasn't prevented it happening, but my device then paces me out of it. This was quite debilitating, and happening frequently, so my ablation was brought forward.

Now, I am relieved to report that I have no more problems at all with VT and my heart is now nice and steady. However, I was hoping I would start to feel better by now, but I am so tired, and get out of breath so easily, 2 weeks on.

Is it still early days or should I mention my concerns to the hospital? Also, I was previously on Bisoprolol but it was stopped by the hospital as my heart rate was too low, I also have low blood pressure. My device now stops my heart rate from going too low but I am sure that the bisoprolol which they have now re introduced is not helping with my breathing and energy levels. Does anyone else get these side effects from Bisoprolol?

Thanks everyone!

I am not sure how you are feeling now if things have settled down any ?
