Statins and ezecor

Hi, my i had 3 stents put in 2 months ago.my physicien prescribe atorvastatin 80 mg and my Last lab result Were 80 mg/dl for LDL cholestérol. My physicien said thé target is 56 mg and hé add ezecor 10 mg .I have to say that I already changer my diet by far.I am quiet afraid to start ezecor I have alteady pain muscles and weaknees in my limb .what Ican do ?

You should go back to your GP/physician and discuss your situation given you appear to be suffering from medication side effects. There may be alternatives which can be explored which will get your cholesterol down to a level that your GP/physician requires for your well being. However in the UK the recommended max level for LDL is 3mmol/l or 116mg/dl and you are well under that already, so I would discuss that as well.

Unfortunately, you may need to ask your doctor for a different course of statins, there are five different types, but you may have muscle aches with each one, sadly it's a matter of trial and error.

I changed statins twice, before I changed to plant steynols which for me worked in the same way as the statins by reducing my bad cholesterol
