CRT pacemaker. Post op

Hi, This may sound ridiculous but has anyone had any left hand/wrist pain 2 months down the line of having a CRT pacemaker fitted? I think it’s nerve pain as the pacemaker has bedding in. It feels like I have broken my wrist. At first it was coming and going but today I have had it all day so far!

Try physiotherapy. Hi I had pain in my upper arm a couple of months after my ICD was fitted. It was very painful and restrictive. I contacted the ICD team who referred me to a physiotherapist and after a few sessions with him the pain eventually stopped. My arm is completely recovered now.Hope you feel better soon.

Only thing I can think of is: did you have a cannula inserted on your hand or wrist?

I know sometimes if anaesthetists are desperate to find a vein they go there but there always a risk of pinching a nerve.

I very much doubt that a pain in your wrist is connected to where they put your pacemaker CRT (I have one too).

Maybe if it is not getting better once the pacemaker settles in it’s place (it can take quite a few weeks) go and see the doctor to discuss physio
