Ticagrelor 6 or 12 months post HA and stents

Hi

Can anyone advise why the prescribing of ticagrelor differs between geographical areas, some direct 6 months and some 12 months post stent and heart attack.

Is there any short concise research I could read on the rationale/ outcome for length of prescribing?

I was told to take them for 12 months but I had lots of very large bruises, so they changed them to clopidogrel for a year.

I am into year 2 on ticagrelor, after having 2 stents fitted. The first year was 90mg twice daily, now on 60mg twice daily and then later this year when I move into year 3 it will be 30mg twice daily.
