Beta blocker metroprolol & low EF

Sept last year I had 4 stents fitted in 3 arteries 70% blocked , issue identified during routine check( had minimum symptoms, quite active and fit , non smoker and non drinker. Stress test EF 40%). On metroprolol 50 to start with after having some dizzy spell low , resting heart rate and BP cardiologist dropped to 25 (12.5) twice a day. It did helped but but now my BP drops to 103/63 and HR in low 50s ..I get dizzy and weak. Now my cardiologist want to reduce even further or even take me off metroprolol. I usually feel dizzy when back from walk or actively doing house chores. Its been 5 months and not know if my EF has gotten any better. I can exercise and walk and I am fine , saying that pre diagnosis I was doing without any issues. Completely taking me off from BB may not help to improve my EF. For some reason only medicine I am on at the moment that's helping me is BB. I am on statin, brillianta and aspirin large dose . My quick questions

1. Does BB helps with EF if so is it reasonable to worry about?

2. Should I ask and stay with lower dose?

3. Is anything else helps with EF such as exercise, diet and other medicine I am on

Thanks 🙏🙏
