it's been a few stressful weeks, my mum unfortunately passed away just over two weeks from having the operation to mend her broken hip. She was 104 and I think at the end she just gave up, did get pneumonia. Had a few not very bad angina attacks which I think we're stress related as not had any whilst walking or when I ventured back to aqua today for the first time since she was admitted to hospital. Will be glad when this year is over and I can find out in the new year whether I had the stent or not. When I read other people's posts I think how lucky I am born to have more serious problems.

Hello :-)

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mum it must be such a difficult time and can imagine something like this would bring on angina attacks

What a ripe old age 104 wow even though I know the pain of losing her will still be the same

Some years I think we all may say we were glad that one was over and I hope the New Year will be a better one for you and I am so interested to read your post in the New Year when you let us know if you did get a stent

Look after yourself :-) x

So sorry to hear about loss of your Mum

We now as the years go by, we will lose them at some point

but we are never ready for it to happen

Take Care of yourself

Dear annpavitt250448

So the era of life without your beloved Mum is beginning as it has to many on here.

Life will be so different, but very liveable , we miss them everyday but slowly their memories become entwined into our new lives and before we know it their teachings, knowledge and love, are with us { they never left } in both good times and bad.

You have to worry more now about your own health and the battle to recover from your symptoms .

Take care, you are in my thoughts

I am so sorry to hear you no longer have your mum in your life.

I lost my brother very suddenly and unexpectedly, a few weeks ago. My mum several years ago.

Emotional stressis one of the triggers of my angina. My angina has certainly been much worse in the last few weeks.

Time to take it easy and look after yourself.

i actually think I did get the stent, although I have a bit of mild angina the last few weeks (due to stress) , whilst walking I have been fine. As I am not taking any anti angina meds, I am sure I would have had bad angina judging by how I was before the angina was diagnosed
