After my heart attack 7 weeks ago, I've been having some palpitations. I've had an ECG,but that's all clear. Not sure if it's anxiety or the menopause as most of my symptoms before my attack were put down to my menopause, I worry all the time I'm going to have another one!

Carol, palpitations are usually a skipped, extra or irregular heartbeat which many people have with or without a cardiac history. An EKG only captures a few seconds of the heart rhythm so may there may or may not have been a skipped or extra beat during that time but it seems the doctor was happy with your results. If they are frequent, you could note how many times a day it occurs and let your GP know.
