Is this angina?

Hi all,

I was diagnosed with afib 3 years ago and have mentioned to several medics (cardiologists, arrhythmia nurses) that I occasionally had slight heart aches when exercising or stressed, but none of them seem concerned.

Afib does not seem to be related to heart pain - so I'm not sure whether the afib is causing the ache or if it may be angina? What do you think?

I started getting these slightly aching symptoms years ago when cycling hard. Saw a cardiologist who did think it was angina. It went away but came back much worse in Jan. 2021. I ended up needing a triple bypass.

Whoa, that's worrying! Hope things have improved for you.

Yes, I am 2 weeks on from the operation, seemingly recovering well 👍

Afib can and sometimes does cause chest pain or discomfort. At exercise not really that worrying for professionals.
