Im a heart failure patient whose living with a severely enlarged left ventricular and a moderately enlarged RV.

My EF is 40-45% and most of my valves have mild to severe regurgitation.

I have a pacemaker/defibrillator in situ.

How often my specialist should be checking on me and how soon I wonder I can be added to a transplant list (preliminary tests have been done already and ok).

I’m terrified of just dying of sudden cardiac death :-(

Dear Letsallhope1

I think that you already know the answers to your questions, they are something only your heart team can give you.

It would be impossible and wrong for anyone on here to give you a time scale to work to, as we are all individuals with individual needs.

It sounds like that you are being protected as much as they are able to { pace maker etc } until your next stage.

What can be offered here, and is so freely given, is support for you so that you will know that any and every stage in your heart journey you are not alone.

You are in my thoughts
