Hi my daughter has PoTs. Was doing really well on midodrine. However the last 3 weeks terrible. Fainting daily & she says they feel different, & now without warning. Her 24 hr heart monitor showed she has sinas tachycardia 210 times both during the night & day. Is this normal? She had migraine & was ill in bed for 4 hours of the tape. Didn’t do anything strenuous but a trip to the shop. Some spikes are whilst in bed laying down too. Is this part of PoTs or has she something else going on. Her echo show mild AR & ECG is normal.

I'd be calling 999 or at very least your GP
Hi. I’ve spoken to her consultant who ordered blood tests, which are okay. Just waiting to speak to her cardiologist next week. Luckily joined a little PoTs group and it seems it’s pretty normal, she needs more meds. It’s amazing how much you learn on forums 😉
