After a recent angiogram I developed pain along the entire length of the arm (there is no apparent swelling) in which the catheter was inserted and ten days later, despite taking paracetamol and carefully applying an ice pad, the pain remains. Have any of you suffered similarly? If so, what success have you had in remedying the problem?

Many of us have experienced this. You are doing the right things. It’s a bruising which might be exacerbated by your new drug regime. It will get less over the next 2 weeks and vanish.
Yes, except my continuing pain was in my leg as the angiogram. was carried out via entry in the groin. When mentioning at follow-up appointment, the cardiologist said it was most likely due to internal bruising and would clear in time. Happily, it did eventually resolve and should do so for you, too. However, don’t hesitate to seek expert advice if necessary.
