CoQ10 "Snake oil" or not?

I have been doing a bit of googling regarding supplements. I am a vegetarian with HFPE and AF. I am going for cardioversion on the 18th Sept.

Is it worth taking CoQ10? There seems to be some benefit depending on which report you read.

Anyone taking it?

I just got some today after getting advised to get some from a health shop! I’ve read that they are meant to work well but I guess everyone’s different so I’m interested to see if they have any effect or not. Good luck with your cardioversion!

I have now seen the previous discussions, and it seems to be a confused situation, more research being needed. So it's probably best not to start another post on this topic, it's been "done to death".
