Thinking of you

So very sorry about your devastating loss. My husband was very lucky to survive 2 heart operations. Like your husband, he appeared to be in good health at the age of 51 years, when he suddenly developed atrial fibrillation, caused by mitral valve disease. Within a year, he had developed severe heart failure and required an emergency operation, when he haemorrhaged and almost died, on our 10th wedding anniversary. I remember how devastated I felt. Luckily, he survived although he is now very frail, due to several medical conditions. My thoughts are with you at this very sad time. I hope you have good friends or relatives close by, who can support you at this very lonely and difficult time. And yes, counselling may help. Wishing you well.
