Grateful this site exists

I joined a few days ago and went straight to posting a question instead of introducing myself, and I want to say thank-you to every responder to my question and the discussion those replies generated. Very helpful common sense discussion followed, and it's been beyond reassuring to hear from every one of you.

I have Rheumatic Heart (diagnosed over 50 years ago) and have managed well until recently - I thought. Had a bad turn last month and now am booked for a Rapid Access Chest Pain appointment for Tuesday (GP thinks angina+heart failure). Being able to read the posts and discussions here, and again, the replies to my posted question, has been the ultimate antidote to the fears and worries. Thank-you for being here.
