A typical angina?

Could anybody explain what atypical angina is.

I was recently hospitalised for a few days after a episode of atypical angina that lasted for 8 hours.

My pain radiated up the right shoulder at the front and neck.

Thank you

Typically angina comes on with exercise or stress whereas it does not with atypical angina.

The causes may sometimes be non- cardiac related with the cause being inflammation, stomach ulcers, etc. This can make finding and treating the root cause difficult. Do keep us updated.

Thank you.

Mine came on walking up a hill (tiny) to work and the exhersion set it off.

I didn't take my spray as i wasn't aware it was angina as just felt the pain and dizzy.
